From 18 to 20 May 2017, the city of Milan hosted in the iconic Castello Sforzesco the “e-mob - the national conference for electric mobility (conferenza nazionale della mobilità elettrica), the Italian national conference dedicated to e-mobility. This event gathered national and local institutions, cars producers, universities, research centers and main actors of the electric mobility sector. The aim of the event was to debate on the future of sustainable mobility in Italy, starting from Milan’s example and other European cities’ experience.
“e-mob” is the natural progression of a path which started in 2016 with the adoption of “Carte di Arese”, a document on sustainable mobility currently under governement evaluation. The outcomes of the discussions during the event will be used to draft the guidelines (Milan Paper) for e-mobility in Italy.
On, the second day of the event which focused on scientific and technical matters, Clara Callegaris, responsible of Milan Municipality Smart City Unit and Valentino Sevino from AMAT presented e-mobility measures developed within Sharing Cities project.
More information and recordings of the meeting can be found on e-mob website here: http://www.emob2017.it/ (in Italian).
