The Telegraph's Britain's Smart Cities conference took place on October 10, 2017. It was an occasion for city leaders and smart cities experts to engage in vibrant debate providing unique insights into the latest thinking and demonstrating new benchmarks for the industry.
Speakers at the conference provided detailed insights and case studies demonstrating how successful cities are revolutionising their approach, not only to drive economic growth but also to keep pace with demands on connectivity and sustainability, as well as growing populations and increasing expectations for improved quality of life within an urban environment.
Andrew Collinge, from the Greater London Authority and Senior responsible officer of Sharing Cities, moderated a panel discussion on “Data Analytics, Insights and Meaningful Services for Citizens”. Sarah Butler, Programme Coordinator for Sharing Cities in Greenwich, also played an active role during the event as she was co-leading a breakout session on “Impactful Innovative Tech”.
