The city of Brno, a fellow city in the RUGGEDISED project, is inviting to a replication workshop, which will be organized as a side event of the URBIS Smart City Fair 2019.
There will be three rounds of the replication workshop each consisting of five to six round tables. One innovative smart solution will be discussed at each round table. New round means new smart solutions! Each round table will consist of 30 minutes of presentation by the city and 30 minutes of discussion. One round table will have up to ten participants (including presenters). Thus, covering up to 160 people.
The replication workshop will be 'project focused'. Meaning that one concrete selected smart solution will be discussed during the round table. While some round tables will focus more on technical aspects of a selected smart solution, others can be devoted more to the implementation processes – governance aspects, used business models, public procurement, citizen engagement and data usage. Each round table will be facilitated. Facilitators of the workshop will collect information on the most important findings.
Participation in the workshop will be available for all visitors of the fair requiring prior registration. During the registration the preference will be given to the city representatives (decision makers, politicians etc.). Attendees will be able to choose from round tables and will receive basic information about selected smart solutions in advance of the event.
Registration will open soon.
