Smart city conference week

SmartEnCity Conference is taking place in Sonderborg, Denmark on 4-6 October 2017. This conference will discuss the needs and challenges of the smart cities and communities.

The two-day event will include keynote speakers who will address the important roles of cities, technology, green job creation and the political framework. The event also includes a panel discussion from Mayors and conference participants to discuss how cites can speed up the transition toward smart cities. The final day of the meeting will focus on workshops to address the challenges of smart cities and communities’ follower cities. The day will conclude with a SmartEnCity site tour in the Sonderborg area on Biogas busses and e-mobility, of green district heating and building energy retrofit with citizen participation.

The EU Follower-cities and SmartEnCity Network workshop is an integrated part of the cross-border 100% Climate Neutrality 2017 conference, which this year is focused on Smart Cities.
