Sharing Cities activities during the EU Sustainable Energy Week

19/06/2017 - 24/06/2017 (Brussels)

Sharing Cities will be present at several EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) events taking place from 19 to 25 June 2017.

Together with the eight other SCC1 smart city projects funded under the Horizon 2020 programme, Sharing Cities applied to present the on-going collaboration during the Networking Village activity that will take place at the Residence Palace in Brussels on 21 June from 14:00 to 17:30. Sharing Cities will have a stand with other lighthouse projects (GrowSmarter, mySMARTLife, Replicate, Ruggedised, SmartEnCity, Smarter Together, Triangulum) where smart city solutions developed in each of the projects will be presented to visitors and smart city stakeholders.

On Thursday 22 June from 16:00 to 17:30, Piero Pelizzaro from Milan will be speaking in a session with the title "Smarter is cleaner - lessons learned from the SCC1 smart city projects on grids, storage and prosumer models" together with representatives of 4 other lighthouse projects.
This session will take place in the Greater Birmingham and West Midlands Brussels Office (Floor 6), Avenue d'Auderghem 22-28 Oudergemselaan, B-1040 Brussels. More information here:

During those days Sharing Cities' partners will seize the opportunity to attend other policy conferences relevant for the work developed within the project. For more information on the different sessions during this week, please visit the EUSEW website here:
